Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there was a beautiful princess named Snow White. Her skin was as white as snow, her lips as red as roses, and her hair as black as ebony. Her beauty made her wicked stepmother, the Queen, very jealous. The Queen owned a magical mirror that she would ask daily, “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?”
As long as the mirror replied that she was the fairest, the Queen was content. But one day, the mirror told her that Snow White was the fairest. Enraged by jealousy, the Queen ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the forest and to get rid of her.
The huntsman led Snow White deep into the forest but could not bring himself to harm her. Instead, he told her to run away and never return to the castle. Snow White was terrified and ran as far as she could, eventually stumbling upon a small, charming cottage. Exhausted, she fell asleep on one of the seven tiny beds inside.
When the seven dwarfs who lived in the cottage returned home from their work in the mines, they were surprised to find Snow White asleep in their beds. They woke her gently, and she told them her sad story. The dwarfs, touched by her kindness and innocence, agreed to let her stay with them and promised to protect her from the Queen.
Back at the castle, the Queen discovered that Snow White was still alive. In her fury, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Disguising herself as an old peddler woman, she visited the dwarfs’ cottage with a poisoned comb. She persuaded Snow White to try the comb, but as soon as it touched her hair, Snow White fell to the floor, unconscious. The dwarfs found her just in time and removed the comb, reviving her.
Undeterred, the Queen tried one last time. She dressed as a different old woman and brought a beautiful, shiny, poisoned apple. She convinced Snow White to take a bite. As soon as Snow White tasted the apple, she fell into a deep, magical sleep.
The dwarfs were heartbroken and placed Snow White in a glass coffin in the forest. They kept watch over her day and night, hoping for a miracle.
One day, a prince who had heard of Snow White’s beauty came to see her. He was so moved by her story and her beauty that he kissed her gently. The magic of true love’s kiss broke the spell, and Snow White awoke!
The prince and Snow White fell deeply in love. They returned to the castle, where the wicked Queen was punished for her evil deeds. Snow White and the prince were married in a grand celebration, and they lived happily ever after with the seven dwarfs as their friends.
Thus, Snow White’s bravery and kindness were rewarded, proving that true beauty comes from within and that good always triumphs over evil.
